Another book from that wonderful publisher north of the boarder.

This is a tale of Scotland and…India – an interesting mix of cultures and references. Smells, sights and sounds. I find that the aroma/smell of a place means more to me than many memories I have of the sights and sounds, (though nothing can take the place of Indri calling in a forest in Madagascar)…

This is a tale of two boys from India, hot, steamy, colourful and aromatic, suddenly transported to Scotland, a land of mizzle, greyness and cold. Life is to be very different. The house that they are to call home is old, creaky and sold fully furnished…including an old and rather tattered tiger skin rug.

A very different world…

Things are never to be the same again.

Filled with magic, friendship and a good deal of bravery. A story for those who are beginning to really get their teeth into reading…

Believing things. Forcing yourself to believe them, isn’t always a bad thing,’ she offered.

This is almost a legend/fairy tale (there are no fairies in this), one of those wonderful whimsical stories. Unlikely on the one hand, but full of joy on the other.

A tale of hope, of believing in things and yourself…and a large, not to say huge pumpkin and the friendship between a young boy and his grandad…

Grandads are special people.

A book of quiet observations and adventure. With a charm all of its own.

A book of dreams…
